all in the name of progress

The world we are living in gets scarier by the minute. We've grown so accustomed to voilence in the world, that we've tuned it out as an every-day report on the news. Researchers have even gotten to the point of creating Abortion pills. Like it's just some everyday occurrence. Hey all you couples out there fornicating and having intercourse, guess what? No need to use any form of protection anymore - if your girl gets pregnant, she just has to go visit her doctor and sign up for the Abortion Pill!
That's right, they've made a pill available for you to kill your unborn child, doctors don't even have to perform surgery to get the baby out anymore. While I find abortions in general to be an abomination, i'm horrified at how convenient doctors are making things for women. Giving them the choice to play god and kill the embryo that could have been their child.

staying productive

So this morning Fadi called me to go for brunch, but we ended up going for coffee. Ahmed called me later on to move the rest of my crap into the apartment. It took me forevvvver to pack the rest of my crap into boxes, but most of it got packed in the end. I just have my towel, bedsheets + duvet left.. My printer is still here, but i'm trying to get rid of it/sell it cuz it's not compatible with my mac, but it doesnt look like i'll get rid of it in time. So we sent the stuff to the apartment and i saw Sharpe there, she said she was gonna be out Monday night, so everything got fixed i guess.. I got an email from this place called Vector and we scheduled an interview for Tuesday. I was really happy about it, but then Ahmed told me it was a pretty shitty job selling security systems door-to-door. So that kinda went south, i'm not even sure if i should still go to the interview or not. I'd go just to make sure it was the job he said it was.. if it is then i just wont take the job i guess.. Nothing's been unpacked at the apartment, i'm gonna wait til Tiffany moves out to do that, i'll have some extra time on my hands until school starts to do all that anyway.

I'm working backshift right now, might be my last shift.. apparently someone posted a 4pm-12am shift for tomorrow, so i'm thinking of taking that too.. did i tell u i have $1,000 on my credit card? so i wanna get that cut down by at least half..

Ponderations is back!

My space. For my thoughts.
I read your letter, and every time i sit by the desk to go on my laptop (which has been ALOT ever since you left), i look at that letter, and make sure i take a good smell of it. I love how You make me feel appreciated. But this summer is going to be hard for me. I didn't realize how much time we killed together, and my greatest fear is being alone.

Rez is dead, and everyone's gone, except for people working security or facilities. Luckily we happen to know them. But this summer i'm moving off-campus, so it's not like i'll get to really hang out with them as much as i want to. My little apartment is waiting for me, but it's just going to be myself. And i dont want the silence there to be deafening.

It's only been 2 days, i didn't think i would this much, but i miss You already.
