Ponderations of a DayDreamer

I'm at my parents place in the great fast paced city of Dubai.. yes, not surprisingly with not much to do at this hour.. while dubai might be a great place to shop and stay for a week or two, i keep telling myself how i'd hate to live here. Everything is expensive, and to really live life, and have fun would burn a crater in the deepest of pockets. At least that's what i think.

After cruising around almost every night with my cousin, and stopping at most malls and buying at least one article of clothing (if not many many more) i keep asking myself what else is there to do? Apart from:

shop @ malls
eat @ restaurant and/or in malls
have coffee or a drink in malls
cinema (in malls)
go cruising (around the malls)

I'm not so sure if clubbing is an option since the age limit here is supposedly 21, and i haven't been to more than 1 club. Not so sure if they'd let people in purely on the basis of looking "old enough".

Anyway, my cousin is leaving to go back to Oman.. and since my other cousin is having a birthday bash im expected to go.. so i am :) and after the weekend, will be coming back to Dubai to chill with the folks. A couple of days later, i'll be in Oman yet again.. but this time to stay, until my flight back to Canada. The holidays are almost at an end. Darn.

oohh ya dubai! im always broke when im there.. its too expensive.. n i dun think they r other things to do then what uv mentioned ..though u dont get that bored with doing them all over.. i like going to the beach there .. its better then bahrain ! hehe but home is home.. always a better place..
